Nomenclatural History
The species Chryseobacterium gleum was originally described and validly published by Vandamme et al. 1994. Nguyen et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Montero-Calasanz et al. in 2014 and Hahnke et al. in 2016. Vandamme et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Holmes et al. 1984 into the genus Vandamme et al. 1994 emend. Hahnke et al. 2016.
