The species Enterobacter radicincitans was originally described by Kämpfer et al. 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 104 in 2005. In 2013, Brady et al. established as the basonym of (Kämpfer et al. 2005) Brady et al. 2013 .
